Annotate

Text, boxes and arrows

The Annotate panel is one menu for everything that draws on top of your recording: text labels, boxes, arrows, blur masks, and spotlights. Add one from the toolbar at the top, then click it in the list below to expand its own controls.

Text

Drop a label anywhere on the frame. Double-click it in the list to edit its wording.

Boxes

Outline a region to call it out — a button, a field, a piece of UI you want someone to notice.

Arrows

Point directly at something. Adjust weight (thickness) from its inline controls once selected.

Timing

Every annotation has a start and end time tied to the project timeline, defaulting to a few seconds from wherever your playhead was when you added it — so it appears exactly when you meant it to and disappears afterward.

For hiding sensitive content or drawing focus to one area, see Blur masks for privacy and Spotlight.
