Privacy Policy

Overview

Tieddr Pro Screen is a Windows desktop application. It records your screen, lets you edit that recording, and exports a finished video — entirely on your own machine. This policy explains exactly what data the app touches, what (if anything) is sent anywhere, and why.

No account, no sign-up

There is nothing to register for. The app doesn't ask for your name, email, or any identifying information to function, and it doesn't create a user profile of any kind.

Your recordings stay on your device

Screen capture, the cursor and click timeline, editing (zoom, 3D motion, backgrounds, annotations, blur, webcam overlay), and export all happen locally, using your computer's own processor and graphics hardware. Finished videos are written to a folder you choose (by default, your Windows Videos folder) — Tieddr Pro Screen does not upload your recordings, screenshots, or project files anywhere.

Auto-captions run on-device

If you generate automatic captions, the speech-to-text model runs locally in the app using your own hardware. Your audio is not sent to a server to produce captions.

The one thing that does talk to the internet: music search

If you open the Music panel and search for or preview a royalty-free track, the app sends your search terms and requests track/audio data from Jamendo, a third-party royalty-free music catalog, so it can show you results and let you preview or add a track. This only happens when you actively use the Music panel — if you never open it, no request is made. Jamendo's own privacy practices apply to that request; we don't attach any personal identifier to it beyond what's necessary to fetch results.

No analytics, no tracking, no ads

Tieddr Pro Screen does not include usage analytics, crash telemetry, advertising SDKs, or any background "phone home" behavior. We have no way of knowing how many people use the app, what they record, or how they use it, because nothing reports back to us.

Local storage only

Project settings, in-progress edits, and exported files are stored in standard locations on your own disk (your user profile and the export folder you pick). Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete files you've already exported — those are yours, stored where you put them.

Children's privacy

Tieddr Pro Screen is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, since it doesn't collect personal information at all in the course of normal use.

Changes to this policy

If how the app handles data ever changes — for example, if we add an optional update-check or analytics feature in the future — this page will be updated first, and any new data collection will be clearly disclosed here before it ships.
