What Pro Screen stores on your computer, when it connects to other services, and how to contact us.
Updated 8 September 2026
Who this covers
This notice covers Tieddr Pro Screen, its website at proscreen.tieddr.com, and its phone-camera page. Tieddr provides the product. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@tieddr.com. Features and connections may differ between app versions.
Your desktop recordings and projects
The desktop app captures the source you select and processes recordings, edits, and exports on your computer. Depending on your choices, a project can contain screen video, microphone audio, camera video, cursor positions and click timing, captions, imported media, thumbnails, and edit settings. The desktop capture and export workflow does not automatically upload these projects or recordings to Tieddr.
You decide what to record and where to share the result. A source window, notification, or phone screen may contain other people’s information. Obtain any permission you need and review your footage before sharing.
Account sign-in and downloads
Downloads through Tieddr Account are linked to your account. We record your account ID, email address, requested product and version, time, file size, and whether the server started, finished, or interrupted the transfer. This supports your download history and download troubleshooting. A completed server transfer does not prove installation.
App versions with desktop sign-in ask you to approve a matching code in Tieddr Account. The app receives a separate session, not your password. Sessions expire after 30 days, are checked with the account service when the app starts, and can be ended through Sign out in Preferences. The app encrypts the saved session with operating-system storage when available; otherwise it does not persist it. Sign-in does not upload your recordings. Contact privacy@tieddr.com to request access to or deletion of account-linked records. Download records currently have no automatic deletion schedule; request deletion if you no longer need them.
Local storage and deletion
Projects are saved under your Windows Videos folder in TieddrProScreen/Projects. App preferences and workspace settings are stored in the app’s local browser storage. Downloaded audio, model files, and temporary processing data can also remain on the device. Exported files stay in the location selected when saving.
Local files remain until you delete them or the relevant cache is cleared. Uninstalling the app is not a reliable way to remove exported videos or project folders. Back up work you need, close the app, and delete the relevant files yourself. Copies in backups, synchronized folders, or services you upload to must be managed separately.
When the app connects to the internet
- Update checks: a manual check, or an automatic check if enabled in Settings, requests release information from GitHub. This is a version check, not a recording upload. The receiving service sees normal connection information, including the requesting IP address.
- Music: browsing, searching, artwork, previews, and downloads request content from Jamendo and its media hosts. Search terms are sent to the catalog service. Opening the discovery panel can make requests without entering a search.
- Captions: generation loads the speech library from jsDelivr and model files from Hugging Face. The speech-recognition step runs locally. The current implementation does not send your audio to those services for transcription; they receive the requests needed to download the software and model.
- Downloads and external links: visiting a release, license, or other linked page connects your browser to that provider. Its own privacy notice applies.
Phone mirroring and phone cameras
Android mirroring uses a USB or local-network connection to the phone. AirPlay advertises a receiver on the local network so compatible devices can discover it. Start these features only on a trusted computer and network, and stop the receiver when finished.
The iPhone browser-camera feature opens this website’s camera page and requests camera permission. It uses PeerJS signaling and WebRTC connection services, including configured STUN/TURN services, to connect the phone to the desktop. These services process session identifiers and connection metadata; the media may pass through a relay when a direct connection is not possible. Because of these connection services, phone-camera sessions are not limited to your local network.
Treat the camera QR code and session link as private. Stop the camera session, close the page, and revoke its camera permission when no longer needed. Camera media recorded by the desktop becomes part of your local project.
Website visits
Loading the website sends ordinary web requests to the hosting infrastructure. These requests include connection and browser information such as IP address, requested URL, and user agent; hosting systems may keep access or security logs. The website source does not include advertising trackers or a usage-analytics SDK. That does not mean a website visit produces no server records.
The phone-camera page uses browser camera access only after permission is granted. The help search filters articles in your browser rather than sending the search text to a support server.
Support and privacy messages
If you email us, your address, message, and any attachments are processed by us and the email services delivering the conversation so we can respond and investigate. Send only what is needed. Remove private content, credentials, session links, and unrelated files from screenshots or recordings before attaching them.
Support correspondence is separate from local app data. We use it to handle the request and relevant follow-up; email-service retention and backups may also apply. Ask privacy@tieddr.com about access or deletion of information you have sent us. We cannot delete copies stored only on your computer.
Your choices
You can leave optional network features unused, disable automatic update checks in Settings, deny or revoke camera and microphone permissions, stop phone connections, and remove local files. These choices can limit the related feature. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information held about you. Send requests to the privacy address above; we may need enough information to verify and locate the request.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when the described data handling changes. Check its date when you install a new version or start using an optional online feature. Contact privacy@tieddr.com if the app behaves differently from what is described here.
