Annotate

Hide sensitive content before sharing

Check privacy masks over the full clip, not just one frame.

These guides cover the development build shown on this site. Some controls may differ in the published installer. Check your version in Settings and the download notes.

Avoid recording secrets

Close private tabs and disable notification previews. Use sample accounts and data where possible. Blurring a video does not undo the exposure of a password or key.

Add a mask

Open Annotate, choose Blur, and place the mask over the sensitive area. Adjust size and strength, then verify Start and Length. Do not rely on a default duration.

Check the whole take

Play through every moment where the information is visible. Scrolling, window movement, zooms, and scene changes can move it outside a stationary mask.

Blur is not guaranteed redaction

Blur may leave text, shapes, or other clues recognizable. For high-risk information, re-record with safe data or fully cover the area with an opaque element and check the exported frames.

Keep the original private

Edits do not erase content from the source recording or editable project. Share only the reviewed export, not the project folder or raw media. Review screenshots sent to support too.
