Use a webcam or phone camera
Choose a camera source and check the picture before recording.
These guides cover the development build shown on this site. Some controls may differ in the published installer. Check your version in Settings and the download notes.
Connected webcam
Enable the camera in the recording launcher and select the device. Check Windows camera permissions and close other applications using it if the preview is unavailable. Confirm microphone settings separately.
Phone as camera
Use the Phone as camera button in the camera controls. This is separate from Phone screen mirroring: one sends the camera image, the other shows the phone’s screen.
Android
Choose Android and connect by USB. Unlock the phone and approve USB debugging. Camera support depends on the Android version and bundled phone tool. Keep any error message and device details if it fails.
iPhone
Choose the iPhone camera option and scan its QR code with the iPhone Camera app. Open the link in Safari, allow camera access, and use the page’s connect/start control. Keep the page open and the phone unlocked. This browser camera connection uses online connection services; it is not an AirPlay camera mode.
Test and disconnect
Wait for a live image in Pro Screen. Check framing, orientation, lighting, delay, and sound with a short recording. Stop the recording, then stop the camera session. Close the phone page and revoke browser camera permission if no longer needed. Treat the session QR/link as private.
