Working with the timeline & clips
Every take you record lands on the Clips track. Click a clip to select it — the inspector's Clip panel appears with its options, and stays out of the way when nothing is selected.
Trimming, splitting, speed
Trim a clip's in/out points directly on the timeline, split it at the playhead, delete a section you don't need, or change its playback speed anywhere from 0.25× up to 4× — handy for skipping past a slow loading screen or a long typing sequence.
Multiple takes
Hit "+ Take" at any point to record another clip into the same project — it's appended after your existing clips, so you can build a video out of several separate recordings without starting over.
Resizing the timeline
Drag the small handle at the bottom edge of the timeline to give yourself more vertical room — useful when you're lining up several zoom blocks precisely against the clip beneath them.
Undo, freely
Every edit — trims, zoom blocks, annotations, style changes — is undoable with Ctrl+Z, and redoable with Ctrl+Shift+Z. There's no risk in experimenting.
